Freedom III is perfect for Red Sea Liveaboard diving holidays. She is a great choice for individuals, groups of friends and dive clubs.

Equipped with en-suite, air-conditioned cabins she will comfortably accommodate up to a maximum of 20 guests. Wi-Fi is available free of charge but is subject to the local mobile network reception.

Our Sharks Bay Umbi crew on board are second to none. They will do everything they can to make your Red Sea liveaboard a diving holiday to remember. Fresh food is prepared daily by one of our fabulous chefs using only locally sourced produce. There is also the added bonus of being able to depart and return from you diving safari from our own jetty. We also provide free Nitrox for suitable qualified divers.

Perfect for a group of friends, dive clubs or individuals we guarantee departure with a minimum of just 8 guests. For larger groups, for every ten people, the eleventh goes for free. Our liveaboards are also available for private charters.

We offer mini-liveaboard diving safaris starting from just 2 days / 2 nights. Our mini safaris are an ideal way to dive the Thistlegorm. In addition they are a great choice for guests who do not want to commit, or do not have the time, to do a full week. New for 2019 we are offering Unlimited Liveaboards on Freedom III with trips departing early morning every Monday and Thursday. You can arrive any time the evening before and sleep on the boat.

A full week onboard will take you diving to the best sites in the Northern Red Sea. These include the world famous sites of the Straits of Tiran and Ras Mohamed as well as the Straits of Gubal and Abu Nuhas.

Divers should be a minimum of PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent) with a minimum of 30 logged dives before going on a liveaboard.

All our Red Sea liveaboards have oxygen, first aid and Emergency First Response trained staff. Safety is all important at Sharks Bay Umbi; all our guides and skippers are experienced in first aid and environmental protection and participate in regular further training programmes. We take a RIB for additional safety and to give us the opportunity to dive on reefs where the larger boats cannot go.
