We made a dive safari with the Time to Dive team on Blue Shark One from December 29 to January 5, 2020 The attractive price, combined with the upcoming New Year holidays, convinced us of their choice. First, about the boat. This is a small and not new vessel. Cabins are small, beds are in most cabins, on two levels. On the top bed, you run the risk of hitting the ceiling, on the bottom bed, respectively, on the top bed. Air conditioning worked all the time, otherwise it would be very damp. Towels and bed linen were changed once during the safari. However, remember the very democratic price. A festive dinner on the last day of 2019 was served on a white sandy beach. A surprise awaited us on the shore: the team made a whale shark on the sand. Sunset, star filled sky, a bond fire and delicious food completed not only the day, but the whole year. We celebrated 2020 in European tradition, counting down the last minutes of the outgoing year together, and congratulated each other on the New Year. There were more surprises every day, when we were served dinners on the open deck, had a five-o-clock, and had a barbecue. Diving was organized from a separate boat - Doni. A couple of young people helped before entering the water and after the dives. Diving was wonderful and varied. Of the most striking: whale sharks’ day and night, manta rays emerging from the darkness into the light of lanterns, hundreds of nurse sharks walking into what seemed like an endless wall at night, traditional Maldivian diving on thilas, giris and channels. The professionalism of the team and guides was felt the whole time. Starting from the the greet meeting at the arrivals area and ending with the accompaniment to the departure area, we were surrounded by attention and care.
